Constructing Environments - Sem2

Beginning our ‘In Detail’ analysis, our group was given the plans for the Oval Pavilion, a project by Cox architects as was our previous building, the ERC connection.

The Oval Pavilion is currently being built on the edge of the main oval within the college area of the University of Melbourne.

In the 1:1 drawings I focused on a sectioning of the space between two floors.

It was found that the Pavilion essentially lies on concrete slabs mounted with a brick veneer (details on next page).
