The BCES Flight Choir (grades 3-5) sang songs including “Americans We”, “My Flag”, and the “National Anthem”. SPC Aaron Walker, son of Mrs. Crystal Walker, BCES teacher, and SPC Kristy Cogan, spoke on behalf of veterans. Both Aaron and Crystal are in the Army and are stationed in Ben- ton. Each one spoke of their involvement with the Army and encouraged all the students to thank a veteran. Elementary students honor Veterans SPC Aaron Walker and SPC Kristy Cogan. Selectors said Marinelli is always focused on learning, with no time for “goofing off”; Thompson is a fine example of a young lady, super-sweet and a pleasure to have in class; and Newton is extremely helpful and polite to everyone around her, and a good example to her peers.
