    The Brief

Our school was asked if we would like to work with

Batley Business Retail Association to investigate the

possibilities of introducing a loyalty card scheme toBatley Town Centre.

This scheme would enable high street traders to boost

their businesses and to give shoppers an extra incentiveto visit the shops in the Town Centre.

Dixys Chicken suggested that the card should be thesame size as a credit card. It should have the BatleyTown Coat of Arms and the Batley and Birstall Retail

Association logo on the front with and terms andconditions on the back. It should come accompanied bya leaflet with information about all the businesses takingpart such as opening hours, discounts etc.

The owner of Dixys Chicken also said he would beinterested in contributing to any further meetings aboutthe scheme.
