Assessment Forms: Specific release dates and testing windows for the 2014-2015 school year are:
Year-long courses & spring one-semester courses:
• Test forms available: April 27, 2015 NOW!!
• Test administration window: May 18-29, 2015
• Schools may print and photocopy the number of assessments they need. Schools can also order assessments through HISD Printing Services; the printing cost will come out of the individual campus budget.
Best Practice • Be informed on the type of assessments that will count
toward your teacher’s Final SP Rating
• Discuss the EOY Student Progress process with your teachers
• Plan ahead….. More testing
• Ensure all appraisers SAVE & SUBMIT all required Performance Level Worksheets before they leave for Summer Break
• High School Appraisers, please keep in mind of Senior Deadlines for teachers
• Add SP Task bar to the EOY Campus Checklist
EOY TADS Reminders • Per Board Policy- 2/2, all teachers hired before February 6, 2015
should have two walkthroughs and two observations in the TADS Tool. Anyone hired after February 6th, should have four informal walkthroughs in the system.
• Teacher Acknowledgement of Forms in the Online Tools- Board Policy requires all teachers to acknowledge appraisal forms that are submitted to them by an appraiser. So, as you continue to provide meaningful feedback to teachers about their performance, please review the status of all walkthroughs, observations and progress conference forms to ensure the forms have been acknowledged and are at the “Complete” status.
• Closing out the IPDP
• Extension Memo for anyone on a PPA—must be given to teachers.
