You can arrange to pay your residence fees by one ofthree methods: Cash, debit card or credit card in one lump sum Direct debit, in three instalments Credit card, in three instalments

If you pay by instalments, these will be paid in the thirdweek of October 34%, January 33% and April 33% – tocoincide with the expected payment dates of your StudentLoan. If you pay by direct debit then notification of thetransaction will be sent automatically to the address thatyou give for future correspondence on the accommodationfee contribution form.

If you pay by credit card no notification or receipt will besent – the transaction will appear on the accountstatement provided by your credit card company. InSeptember prior to key collection you will receive an emailinviting you to pay or setup a payment plan for youruniversity accommodation fees through our online service.https://myadmin.hull.ac.uk. If you have difficulty accessingthe online service you should complete the AccommodationFee Contribution form available under ‘downloads’ on theAccommodation website and bring this with you when youcollect your key.

Your residence contractThis is a legally binding document with the University ofHull for the period of time set out. It cannot be ended aftera few days or weeks if you decide to move to non-University of Hull accommodation or as a local studentyou decide to return to the family home. Having signed oraccepted the contract electronically you should not enterinto a residence contract with any other residenceprovider. Likewise, if you already have a contract withanother provider, you should not enter into a contractwith the University. Under UK law, both documents wouldbe legally binding – requiring you to pay two sets ofresidence fees. Please note that residence contracts mayextend beyond a student’s requirements. In such cases theUniversity is unable to give refunds for any food oraccommodation that is unused.
