STUDYCLUB

1. Study Club : Basic Alteration This study club was attended by 41 participans consist of 26 members SEG and 15 non members SEG. It was held on Friday, March 11th 2019 at Room 301, Building 1, Geological Faculty Engineering, Padjadjaran University that began at 3 p.m and ended at 6 p.m. The lecture of this study club was Mr. Ahmad Fauzan (Fresh Graduate, HMG 2015) and Mr. Rizal Ghani (Fresh Graduate, HMG 2015). The goals of this activity has been achieved because the participants learned about basic alteration.

3. Study Club : Basic REE in Geochemistry

This study club was attended by 18 participans consist of 18 members SEG. It was held on Friday,May 3rd 2019 at Room 303, Building 1, Geological Faculty Engineering, Padjadjaran University that began at 4 p.m and ended at 6 p.m. The lecture of this study club was Rosmalia Dita Nugraheni (Trisakti University Lecturer). The goals of this activity has been achieved because the participants learned about Rare-earth Element in Geochemistry.

4. Study Club : Basic Geothermal This study club was attended by 23 participans consist of 17 members SEG and 6 non members SEG. It was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2019 at Room 303, Building 1, Geological Faculty Engineering, Padjadjaran University that began at 4 p.m and ended at 6 p.m. The lecture of this study club Dr. Ir. Dewi Gentana, Dipl.Geothermal.MM (VP Operation Support PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy). The goals of this activity has been achieved because the participants learned about Basic Geothermal.

5. Study Club : Geologi Batubara (Continually Learning) This study club was attended by 20 participans consist of 15 members SEG and 5 non members SEG. It was held on Saturday, October 5th 2019 at Room 303, Building 1, Geological Faculty Engineering, Padjadjaran University that began at 10 a.m and ended at 1 p.m. The lecture of this study club was Gladly Wardhana, ST. MausIMM (PT SGMT INDONESIA) . The goals of this activity has been because the participants learned about coal.

1. Course : Applied Structure Geology in Exploration and Mining Production This course was attended by 60 participans consist of 43 members SEG and 17 non members SEG. It was held on Friday, March 8th 2019 at Room 301, Building 1, Geological Faculty Engineering, Padjadjaran University that began at 3 p.m and ended at 6 p.m. The lecture of this course was Fatma Tafwilda, S.T.. The goals of this activity has been achieved because the participants learned about structure geology applied in exploration and mining production.

2. Course : Basic Gold Exploration This course was attended by 33 participans consist of 28 members SEG and 5 non members SEG. It was held on Saturday, March 31st 2019 at Room 303, Building 1, Geological Faculty Engineering, Padjadjaran University that began at 8 a.m and ended at 12 p.m. The lecture of this course was Gyaista Sampurno (Principal Geologist GeoFix Indonesia). The goals of this activity has been achieved because the participants learned about Basic Gold Exploration.

3. Course : Epithermal Sulphidation This course was attended by 33 participans consist of 33 members SEG. It was held on Monday, May 13th 2019 at Room 301, Building 1, Geological Faculty Engineering, Padjadjaran University that began at 3.30 p.m and ended at 5 p.m. The lecture of this course was Ir. Benny Benzaman, M.T. The goals of this activity has been achieved because the participants learned about Epithermal Sulphidation.

4. Course : Coal Modelling This course was attended by 13 participans consist of 11 members SEG and 2 non members SEG. It was held on Saturday, October 12th 2019 at Room 301, Building 1, Geological Faculty Engineering, Padjadjaran University that began at 8 a.m and ended at11 a.m. The lecture of this course was Faisal M Haryanto, S.T. The goals of this activity has been achieved because the participants learned about Coal Modelling.

5. Course : Asphalt Exploration This course was attended by 40 participans consist of members SEG and non members SEG. It was held on Friday, October 4th 2019 at Auditorium Room, Building 1, Geological Faculty Engineering, Padjadjaran University that began at 3 p.m and ended at 6 p.m. The lecture of this course was Sigit Dermawan, S.T. It was held on Monday, April 29th 2019 at Auditorium Room Building 1, Geological Faculty Engineering, Padjadjaran University that began at 3 p.m and ended at 6 p.m. The lecture of this course was Mr. Asri Arifin,S.T., M.T., IPM., AusIMM (Senior Geologist AMC Consultants). The goals of this activity has been achieved because the participants learned about Porphyry Sulfidation and Skarn Deposits.

FIELDTRIP

1. Fieldtrip “Mapping Simulation, Bantarujeg, Majalengka” On Saturday-Sunday, April 13th-14th 2019, 32 SEG Unpad SC Members visited Batarujeg, Majalengka to do mapping simulation. The mapping simulation was intended to help student to learn how to do geological mapping as an application of materials that has been taught during the lectures. This fieldtrip was organized by SEG Unpad SC Members independently.

2. Fieldtrip “Fieldtrip PT Cikondang Kencana Prima Epithermal Low Sulfidation Au-Ag Deposit, Cikondang , Kabupaten Cianjur” On Sunday, November 17th 2019, 40 students from Padjadjaran University, 19 students from Gadjah Mada University, and 4 Lecturers visited Epithermal Low Sulfidation Au-Ag Deposit, PT Cikondang Kencana Prima, Kabupaten Cianjur, West Java, Indonesia. This field trip was led by our Faculty Advisor at Padjadjaran University, Prof. Mega Fatimah Rosana, Ir., M.Sc,. Ph.D. Students had an opportunity to learn how Epithermal Low Sulfidation Deposit formed and also knowing what is inside the deposit directly.

OTHER PROGRAM : ANNUAL EVENT “HARDROCK FESTIVAL 2019”

Hardrock Festival was our biggest event that has five contents in general, Talkshow, Paper Competition, Gold Exploration Competition, Coal Exploration Competition, and ended with Fieldtrip. General theme of Hardrock Festival 2019 was “Strategic Planning for The Next Golden Age of Mining Exploration Project by Enhancing Insight In Economic Geology”

1. Talkshow This event was held on Monday, October 21st 2019. The talkshow discussed about the recent cases and information in gold and coal mining and also about green energy or the environmental-friendly energy generating equipment that can be produced from mining activities. In this talkshow, there are four speakers from various companies and institution and also a moderator from our Lecturer in Padjadjaran University. Speakers Ir. Sukmandaru Prihatmoko, M.Econ.Geol. (Director Exploration PT SJR-Pama Group), Johan Arif, B.Sc., M.Sc. (GM Brownfields Exploration PT J Resources Nusantara), Ir. Bambang Gatot Ariyono, M.M. (General Director of Mineral and Coal), and Eko Nurtanto, S.T (Superintendent Geologist PT Kaltim Prima Coal). as speakers and Kemala Wijayanti, S.T., M.T. (Lecturer at Faculty of Geological Engineering, Padjadjaran University) as moderator

2. Paper Competition

Paper Competition was held on Thursday, October 24th 2019. The competition held for the first time by Hardrock Festival 2019 of SEG UNPAD SC. This competition would be challenged the participant to write scientific paper that suitable with Hardrock Festival 2019 theme. There were 5 teams from various universities in Indonesia who participate in this competition.

3. Coal Exploration Competition This event was held on October 23rd -24th 2019. In this competition, participants would be challenged to process mining exploration data, especially coal mines to become a coal mining model which will eventually be presented. Creativity and relevance of interpretation were the main points in Coal Exploration Competition. On this competition there were 7 teams from various university in Indonesia.

4. Gold Exploration Competition Gold Exploration Competition was held on October 23rd -24th 2019. In this competition, participants would be challenged to process mining exploration data, especially gold mines to become a gold mining model which will eventually be presented. Creativity and relevance of interpretation were the main points in Gold Exploration Competition. On this competition there were 8 teams from various university in Indonesia.




OTHER PROGRAM : ANNUAL EVENT “TRAINING CAMP 2020”

This program is collaboration between SEG and MGEI in Indonesia. the Society of Economic Geologist of Padjadjaran University - Student Chapter and Masyarakat Geologi Ekonomi Indonesia engaged in mining geology held Field Trip 2020 "How Professional Do Aplication Underground Mapping and Core Logging in the Minning”. Hopefully with this event can provide understanding and solution so that can advance mining in Indonesia. Field Trip held on PT. Antam Tbk, Unit Pongkor, Bogor on 24-28 February 2020.

Participants who attended Field Trip numbered 35 participants from 15 with SEG and MGEI in Indonesia such as UNDIP (Diponegoro Univesity), UNSRI (Sriwijaya University), UPN Yogyakarta ( Pembangunan Nasional University Yogyakarta) , UNHAS (Hasanudin University), ITSB (Institute of Technology Sains Bandung) , UNPAK (Pakuan University) , UHO (Halu Oleo University), USTJ (Sains and Technology Jayapura Univesity), UNPAD (Padjadjaran University), UGM (Gadjah Mada University), UNSOED (Jendral Soedirman University), UNG (Gorontalo University) AKPRIND (Institute Sains and Technology Akprind), UOG (Ottow Geissler University), and ITNY (Institute Technology National Yogyakarta) with 5 speakers from MGEI namely Mr. STJ. Budi Santoso. ST., M.EcGeo (VP Explorational PT. J Resource), Mr. Iwan Munajat (Independent Geology Consultant), Mr. Surahmat (Exploration Manager PT. Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral), Mr. Tatsky Reza Setiawan (Exploration geologist PT J Resources), and Mrs. Nadya Fauzia Puspalestari (Micromine Trainer). Field trip participants come from students and professionals, the students are 35 people and 5 professionals.
