Sportsmanship Pledge 1 copy per year needed on file

As a student-athlete or parent/guardian of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, I pledge to:

• Display Christian behavior at practices and games.

• Represent my parish and/or school to the very best of my ability.

• Refrain from profanity, racial or ethnic comments, harassment or taunting of teammates,

opponents, coaches, officials and fans.

• I will not engage in any unsportsmanlike actions directed at any official, coach, player or

other spectators

• I will respect the officials and their authority during games and will not question, discuss

or confront coaches or officials at the competition site. I will take time to speak with

coaches at an agreed upon time and place

• Take responsibility for my actions.

• I agree to monitor my child’s compliance with the rules laid out in the Academic

Eligibility/Conduct Requirements for Participation in Athletics

• I also agree that if I fail to abide by the following guidelines and goals, I will be subject

to disciplinary action that could include, but not limited to: a verbal warning by St.

Anthony Athletic Association personnel, written warning removal and/or suspension

from game(s), or legal prosecution or action with record of incident kept on file.
