Stucco Casing Bead

AMICO Vinyl Casing Beadis often referred to, by the industry, as aplaster stop because it is used to termi-nate plaster or stucco. AMICO vinyl cas-ing beads are strong and durable, to givemaximum protection to this highly vul-nerable stucco area. Casing beadslarger than 7/8 inch, have additional re-inforcement in the ground flange for ex-tra strength.

Stucco Casing Bead

AMICO Vinyl Wide Flange Casing Beadis used to terminate plaster at the topof the wall and at all through wall pen-etrations. The extra wide 2½ inch per-forated flange is used in those areasthat require a wider than normal flange.

AMICO Vinyl Casing with Revealis used as a plaster termination at win-dows and (sliding) doors that are insetfrom the plane of the wall surface, whenthis inset is not deep enough to use acorner bead. The casing bead with re-veal may be the perfect accessory todeal with this transition by eliminating thecaulk joint created by a normal casingbead while providing a paintable surface.Caulking and flashing is still required atthe juncture of the bead and the window.

Stucco One-Coat Casing Bead

AMICO One-Coat Casing BeadThis vinyl product should be used onlywith one-coat systems that requre per-forated casing beads at the bottom ofexterior walls. These beads should notbe used in three-coat stucco applicationsor where a foundation weep screed isspecified.

Stucco Angled Casing Bead

AMICO Vinyl Angled Casing Beadis used to form the top edge of a hori-zontal wall band. It is used when theapplicator chooses not to use angledbanding bead.

The down sloping angle permits waterto move away from the top edge of thewall and away from the building facade.

The Chamfered and Bull Nose Casing Beads match the profile of the Chamfered and Bull Nose Reveals. Thesepatent pending products were designed to satisfy the demand for innovative and creative stucco accessories. Whenused with stucco reveals of the same design and our Chamfered and Bull Nose Corner Beads, the entire look of the stuccoassembly is enhanced. All joints should be imbedded in caulk and caulked after installation if necessary.
