Structured Release Liners

Loparex was at the forefront of developing air egress liners for premium graphics applications. Today, Loparex offers Poly Slik® AIR release liners with air egress technology for the global spectrum of graphics arts applications.

Structured release liners enable PS adhesives to develop air channels for the

easy removal of entrapped air during product application. The Loparex

Poly Slik® AIR release liners are designed to give

the proper balance of efficient air channeling

without impacting the final appearance

of the applied face material.

Loparex has entered into a global license with 3M

Company to allow the use of Loparex Poly Slik® AIR release

liners into PSA Graphic Arts application. The specifics of

the applications and some defined end use limitations

are listed below.

“Licensed Applications” shall mean graphic adhesive films

having an exposed flexible substrate layer, a pressure

sensitive adhesive layer adjacent to the flexible substrate,

and a liner layer fully in contact with the adhesive surface

opposite the flexible substrate, wherein the graphic

adhesive film is used as a Large Format Graphic flim.

For the purpose of clarity, the Licensed Field expressly

excludes the following exposed flexible substrates:

Retro-reflective Films and Foam Substrates. Additionally,

the Licencsed Field expressly excludes the following

end-use applications: Paint Re-placement Films, Pressure

Sensitive Adhesive Labelstock, Pain Protection Films, Wood

and Fabric Replacement Films, Printing Plate Mounting

Tapes, Electronic Display Protection Films, Solar Control

Window Films, and Safety and Security Window Films.
