Bangladesh Islami University (BIU) was established in 2005

by the trust of this University with a mission to establish this

university as an ideal institute of higher education and

research in the private sector of Bangladesh. The Trust is anon-political and non-profit voluntary organization, registered

with the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Islami University (BIU) has been established

under the private university act 1992,as amended in 1998.

BIU is trying to open Engineering Faculty.

BIU is finding a suitable place in Uttara.

For establishing own campus BIU has already taken land in Green Model

Town.

Well secured female campus.

Authority is trying dissuading from political pressure and external

orientation.

Authority will arrange seminar on professional courses, if students are

interested. In terms of co-education authorities opinion is separate education is better

than co-education.
