Resource Parent and Foster Care Advocate/Volunteer From fostering numerous children and becoming adoptive parents themselves, to mentoring biological parents working to reunify with their own children, Mr. Alcantara and his wife, Raquel, know firsthand the struggles children and families can go through and also how important it is for the community to work together to keep children safe, healthy, and happy.

The Alcantara family has received a proclamation from the Orange County Board of Supervisors, on behalf of adoptive families, for their work as resource parents, educators and advocates.
