The history of STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG goes back more than 25 years. As a minor department, mechanical engineering was initially responsible mainly for repairing machines of MAX STREICHER KG, now MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA. The de-partment soon also began making components for other construc-tion machinery manufacturers. In subsequent years, STREICHER’s core business expanded to include the production of chemical apparatuses and vacuum technology as well.

STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG has been an indepen-dent subsidiary of the STREICHER Group since 1988. It has grown from a small company branch to a punchpacking service provider. In addition to the facility in Deggendorf, we also manufacture in Štěnovice near Plzeň, Czech Republic, where an additional plant was established in 1992. In 2004 STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG acquired a further facility, our present subsidiary in Frei-berg, Saxony. In recent years all our locations expanded and new production halls were realised. Today in Deggendorf, Pilsen and Freiberg altogether 350 people are employed.

STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG has specialized, in addi-tion to custom-made machinery, in the design and manufacturing of vacuum containers, vacuum plants and pressure vessels, which ad-here to all current standards. Our systems and equipment are used in a variety of industries, such as chemicals and pharmaceuticals, metallurgy and electronics, vacuum coating and photovoltaics.

We attend to your projects for optimal results. From its initial draft to its delivery, your order will be supervised by one project manager through all project phases, who will be held ready at your personal disposal.

From the beginning...Development, design and calculation

4,500We process more than 4,500 t of steel sheet every year.

Our workshops manufacture welded constructions weighing up to 50 metric tons. Experienced welders handle even the most de-manding welding tasks and provide for highest quality standards by using modern welding techniques such as GTAW, GMAW and SMAW. We also fulfil, in addition to Class E manufacturing qualifi-cations with supplementary qualifications for the welding of stain-less steel and fine-grained structural steels, the requirements of ISO 3834 Part2.

Qualified staff and first-class equipment in our welded parts produc-tion provide for short processing times with no loss in quality. Our modern CNC-controlled cutting system performs autogenous and plasma cutting with maximum precision. Each of our plants has its own blasting and coating facility, enabling us to quickly and flexibly carry out all typical surface treatments in-house.

All about steel...Steel construction and welding

30Our jig drilling machines can process parts up to 30 meters in length.

The perfection of a product also depends on the machines used to manufacture it. That is why our facilities are equipped with the most modern machine tools. We have an impressive range of machinery, including a substantial number of high-performance CNC-controlled jig drilling machines, lathes and milling machines.

An integrated system comprising external programming and exter-nal default tooling ensures an optimized process flow. This helps us achieve a maximum of dimensional accuracy with minimal tooling times.

We are continuously investing in maintenance and the upgrading of our machine equipment – not only for reasons of necessity but as part of our convictions.

High-tech for highest precision...Machining

We can handle installations with unit weights of up to 100 metric tons in our spacious assembly shops. We also have mounting pits that let us erect your system on multiple levels.

We can, on request, perform cold and hot testing at the factory site. We also plan and implement electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic installations.

Subject to agreement, we will deliver your plant directly to the de-ployment site and install it in situ. Even after installation, our com-petent and reliable staff will be happy to assist you. We offer all-round service from commissioning support through to optimization of your machinery during ongoing operations.

Custom-made work...Assembly and service

Our comprehensive quality management system is practiced at all levels of the company and provides for highest quality of all our pro-ducts. Owing to a great number of our additional certifications, we can manufacture components that comply with the requirements of prevalent directives.

Due diligence on the part of our workforce is supplemented by in-termediate and final testing in the process of quality assurance. We use conventional non-destructive testing methods such as MT, PT, UT and RT. Special testing methods such as helium leak testing and endoscopy are also regularly applied.

In addition, we put great emphasis on ongoing training and conti-nuing education of our professional staff. This helps us not only to constantly improve our quality management system but to enhance the quality of our products and services as well.
