WHAT IS STREET SOCCER?Football in the UK is in the midst of a skills revolution, with

people of all ages becoming bored of the constraints

and regulations of traditional football.

Many are turning to more urban and inclusive forms of

the game such as Street Soccer & Freestyle Football

where emphasis is placed on the expression of pure,

creative individual skill.

This new breed of football not only offers a new exciting

way to play but also an innovative and effective tool in

bringing out the best in young people. Street Soccer builds

confidence, develops interpersonal skills, explores vital life

skills as well providing a platform for posstiive

self-expression.

THE AQA UNIT AWARD SCHEMEThe AQA awards are a nationally-recognised scheme

which records and celebrates the achievements of

students of all ages and abilities. Based on a unit

approach, participants are rewarded with Awards

Certificates for short units of work. AQA awards are an

ideal way to support motivate and engage young

people who may not have achieved their full potential in

School. Our awards provide a positive learning experience.

The AQA awards explore vital life skills such as career

progression, independent living and the positives in being

an informed, active and responsible citizen. The awards

can also act as a stepping stone to other awards

and qualifications.

The awards are listed on the National Youth Agency’s

National Framework of Awards in non-formal educational

settings. The Unit Award Scheme prides itself on its quality

assurance and credibility.

AQA STREET SOCCERLEADERS AWARD

• 5 hour course giving an introduction to the skills, rules,

coaching concepts and life skills involved in Street Soccer

• Explores the origins of Street Soccer and its benefits for

creative skill and personal development within players

• Provides students with the knowledge and understanding

to become a Street Soccer Leader

• Practical skills training from Sean ‘The Saint’ ‘ Thompson,

star of the FIFA Street computer game and current UK

Street Soccer Champion

• 1v1 & 3v3 Street Soccer games played in our unique

arenas and cages

• Ideal for delivery within schools and colleges to meet

curriculum target objectives

Cost: £55 per person (Minimum of 15 students)

• Delivered within Street Soccer Youth Outreach projects

and Coaching Clinics

• Provides accreditation to both the Street Soccer

playing and life skills gained within our Street

Soccer Youth Outreach projects and Coaching Clinics

• Practical skills training from Sean ‘The Saint’ ‘ Thompson,

Cost: £35 per person (Minimum of 12 students - This cost

includes the delivery of the first coaching clinic / youth

session. Additional sessions within weekly coaching clinics /

youth sessions are charged separately).
