GeoSWMM allows users to efficiently prepare and manage input data and minimize the potential for data errors. Integrity of the model is ensured through automatic validation of data and by storing data in a database environment. It is 100% compatible with EPA's SWMM 5 and the user interface is identical to EPA's SWMM eliminating the steep learning curve associated with custom model interfaces and yet giving users access to the full power of ArcGIS. GeoSWMM significantly cuts the time and effort required to develop a stormwater or wastewater collection system model, increases the life of the model by storing the GIS data and model input in a single relational database and reduces the long-term maintenance cost of the model.

WaterNAM provides a comprehensive geospatial framework for water utility management. It manages model data in a standard ArcGIS geodatabase. It allows users to efficiently prepare and manage input data and minimize the potential for data errors. Integrity of the model is ensured through automatic validation of data and by storing data in a database environment. It is compatible with EPANET 2.0 and the user interface is similar which eliminates the steep learning curve associated with custom model interfaces.
WaterNAM has advanced hydraulic design and analysis capabilities which include simulation of water flow and pressure across a water distribution network, modeling pump and storage tank systems and their operational behavior, account for time varying demand and control settings, fire flow analysis, and analysis of flow from the emitters.
WaterNAM provides a powerful water quality analysis engine that can simulate movement and fate of different reactive and non-reactive species, determine reaction rates in the bulk flow and at the pipe walls, and perform water age and trace analyses.

Project OutlineA hydropower feasibility study for three large watersheds in Bangladesh is a project sponsored by the World Bank. The objectives of the project were to map the viable sites for both the reservoir and the run-of-river type plants along the Sangu, Matamuhuri and Bakkhali Rivers and estimate the hydropower potentials at each site. Nineteen sites were identified and evaluated in the comprehensive technical report. Satellite-based data and advanced hydrologic modeling were utilized to overcome the challenges due to lack of local data.

The NFIP Program of US Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) studies flood prone areas along streams & shorelines and FEMA's Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports include water surface elevation profiles for different recurrence intervals. For many old studies the effective water surface elevations are available only in hardcopies. Trace allows user to digitize water surface profiles from hardcopy graphs.
Prepare Digital Elevation Chart
TraceTrace is an advanced digitizing tool, primarily developed for extracting profile information i.e. x-y coordinates from a scanned image data source. Trace can handle a large graph divided into many images, both horizontally and vertically.
Trace transforms a long-section map information into digital format and thereby facilitates further application in engineering map, chart and report preparation.
Export to RASPLOT v3.0 Input FileTrace allows a user to export digitized data to the RASPLOT v3.0 input file. RASPLOT v3.0 is used to generate flood profiles with the results of HEC-RAS software. In cases where a user doesn't have the HEC-RAS hydraulic model files but only the flood profile maps, Trace can be of great use as the flood profiles can be easily generated and then can be exported into RASPLOT v3.0 input files.
Linear InterpolationTrace is capable of performing linear interpolation between consecutive two digitized values for a selected elevation profile. In addition it can also extrapolate y-value linearly based on digitized data. In the interpolate data table, you can easily interpolate y-values for all types of the elevation profiles for a specified x-value
