Straw Greenhouse Instructions

Science | Year 2 | Scientists and Inventors | Geenhouse Growing | Lesson 1

3. Place one straw in each corner of the base, with the bendy section at the top. Stick each straw to the base with tape.

4. Bend the straws at each of the short ends of the base towards each other. Stick them together.

5. Tape the last 3 straws across the top and sides of the frame

6. Use one of the large clear plastic bags to cut out two pieces of plastic to cover the ends of your greenhouse. Stick them to the greenhouse with tape.

7. Cut up the sides of the last plastic bag to open it out flat.

8. Place this plastic bag over the frame of the greenhouse.

9. Tape the plastic to the back and the top of the greenhouse, leaving the front open so that you can put your plants in and water them.

10. Add sticky tack to the bottom of the front piece of plastic to weigh it down, so that the greenhouse stays closed when you are not watering your plants.
