Strategy • This is the HOW of what we need to do to achieve the vision
• Strategies require the investment of time and resource
• Example – I will build my body to make me stronger and able to play and win longer matches
Objectives • Are milestones on the way to implementation
• S = Specific• M = Measurable• A = Achievable• R = Realistic• T = Time bound• Example – I will win
Wimbledon in 2011
Tactics • Are sub-elements of the strategy implementation
• Are short term• Are variable according to
circumstances• Can be turned on and off• Example – When I play
Roger I will use my top spin cross court forehand to make the ball bounce higher than he likes
