In this course we are going to examine project management processes and explore a set of tools and methods to make these processes more effective and efficient.

We are going to briefly examine some project management terminology and general concepts.
We are going to review some common project planning tools and methodologies.
We are going to consider some of the complexities associated with managing and coordinating multiple projects.

However, this is not a software course.We will not be learning any particular
software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).Nor, will we focus on project teaming or
project leadership.To that end, you might want to consider
IEM 5603 (primarily concepts & mgmt) IEM 5623 (primarily techniques & software).
