Stuart Simms – Board Director Stuart has worked with Technology companies for over 22 years and held senior leadership posi/ons at Corporates such as Microso@, where he was responsible for building the Mobile Division across Middle East & Africa and Rackspace, where he built the Interna/onal Cloud division which launched the highly acclaimed RAX Cloud and Cloud Managed Services in the UK. A mul/-‐faceted cloud expert, with par/cular focus on Digital commerce B2B and B2C. Stuart recently held the Chief Commercial and Opera/ng officer at Venda, the UK's largest independent eCom plaQorm provider with over 100 top-‐/er brands such as Tesco and FatFace using its SaaS based service.
Execu/ve Leadership
John McMahon – Chairman As well as being the chairman for dmd, John is Execu/ve Vice President and Managing Director for EMEA Distribu/on for Legendary Television. He spent over 21 years in a variety of execu/ve posi/ons with Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE). Most recently, as MD, Europe for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. John also served as a non-‐execu/ve director of various media companies including Shine Group, one of the top global television produc/on businesses and now part of 21st Century Fox, and FilmFlex Movies Ltd, the UK’s leading video on demand film service.
Tony Kelly – Board Director Tony is an entrepreneur and pioneer of video on demand around the globe.. He founded the On Demand Group a world leading interna/onal VOD business and sold it to Seachange in 2005. Tony was also instrumental in the forma/on of FilmFlex, a JV between Sony Pictures, Disney and ODG. Tony is the Chairman of Collider, a leading UK integrated digital media marke/ng agency and is on the board of BTI Studios, a global player in the localisa/on of digital content across the globe. Tony is also the chairman of the A-‐Belco Holdings Limited Engineering Group.
Stuart Baxter – Board Director Besides being a funder of dmd, Stuart is current ly the Interna/ona l MD of Entertainment One and on the board of Sunrise, the South African produc/on company.Stuart Baxter is a 25 year media veteran. He started his media career with BSB and Sky. He then spent six years building the satellite start-‐up, Maxat. EBN & ABN brought Stuart in to turn around the Dow Jones Business News Channels, which he merged with CNBC. He then joined Time Warner where he led the EMEA Corporate Development team. A@er that he spent 10 years at Sony Pictures where he ran their European television businesses.
Stephen Riome – Board Director Stephen Riome has over 27 years of interna/onal payTV experience in a career covering the launch and subsequent build-‐out of BSkyB, STAR TV, MTG and Orbit-‐Show/me. Most recently, Stephen was the MD of Vubiquity (formerly ODG) where he ac/vely managed the interna/onal business and delivered commercial and strategic targets for its shareholders. Stephen is one of only a handful of broadcast execu/ves with experience of building an interna/onal VOD business that today spans four con/nents.
