ALLGARMENTSMUSTBECLEARLYNAMED

SchoolNameTapesareautomaticallyprovidedfornewpupils.Onesetissenttoparents,onesetiskeptatSchool.AllitemspurchasedfromtheSchoolShopcanbenamedanddeliveredtoyourchild'sBoardingHouseforthestartofterm(achargeapplies).NOTESParentsmayvisittheSchoolShoponanyweekdayduringtermtimeandalso,byappointment,duringtheholidays.Theschoolshopholdalimitedamountofsecond-handclothingwhichisavailabletopurchase.LaundryandDryCleaningTheSchoolhas itsown laundry. It cannot,however,undertakeanyhandwashing. Articles fordry cleaningare collectedfromHousesweeklybyacontractcleaningcompanyandpricesareveryreasonable.MarkingAboy’snameandschoolnumbershouldbeclearlyshownoneveryarticleofclothingwithawovennametape.ThesewillbeorderedbytheSchoolShopwithapersonalisedstampforuseonfabric,metal,woodandplasticandsenttoyouraddress.(NB a set comprises both large and small name tapes which may be despatched separately.) Name tapes for overseasaddresseswill be ordered for you and kept at the School Shop for collectionwhen you arrive for the start of term. TheSchoolShopcanarrangetosewnametapesintogarmentsforasmallcharge.Thewovennametapesshouldbestitchedormachined inplace: iron-on tapesarenotacceptableas theydonot standup to laundering.A stamp is tobeusedonallsundry items e.g. shoes, swimming goggles, pencil case and pens.
