The Double Couplers provide a strong positive grip when connecting standards to ledgers at right angles. supporting, without distortion, a load of 3048 kgf (6720lbf) applied to horizontal tube. B. Test for slip – The coupler connecting two tubes at

right angles, shall be capable of sustaining a load of 1270kgf (2800 lbf) applied to horizontal tube. During this test the coupler shall not rotate through an angle exceeding 10 degrees from the horizontal.

Sleeve Coupler Sleeve Couplers join two scaffold tubes externally end to end. A steel divider located centrally ensures equal insertion of each tube. They can be employed where tension joints are required and therefore are particularly useful for long bracing and ledger tubes.
