What makes a good story?

• Developed characters, writing, setting• Creative imagination, details, suspense• Beginning, middle, end (closure). Plot twists

with relatable and dynamic characters• Become immersed, grabs attention, coherent• Truthfulness (possibly)• Pathos

Kinds of story are there based on your reading?

• Songs, poems, movies, scripts, music.• Fantasy, fiction, nonfiction, digital storytelling,

video games.• Drama, horror, romance, comedy.• Mind/imagination• Dance/miming

• Art of communicating to convey meaning• Expression of experience• Moral teaching• Entertainment

What are similarities and differences between story and digital story?

• Both – Accomplish similar goals, convey message, both used in expression and easily spread

• Differences – How story is conveyed, digital stories are convenient and less interactive, no human element

• Coveys emotion• Captures attention• Is enthusiastic when speaking• Use complexion• Has charisma and personality• Uses good body language
