Page 1: Story board completion

Black screen. “Prison was tough, I've lost many years, Its time to move on” Narration along these lines.

A train moves from left of the screen to the right. This is a medium/long shot. It is an unexpected and should catch the audience by surprise. Audio will be of a screeching train.

A low angled shot looking up is next, with Ross Gibson the main character walking into it. (Shows his arrival).

A still puddle is shown for a couple of seconds, high angle, looking down onto it. The puddle gets stepped on by a shoe (Ross Gibson) – signals disturbance, disruption within the town – presence)

Gibson now heads off to his new house. A long shot is shown of a rough looking street. Ross Gibson walks into the shot and onwards. Rough area to show he will a rough future.

A front facing medium/close up shot is shown of Ross Gibson walking in this area.

A behind the shoulder/head shot is shown of Ross Gibson once more walking down the road with the camera following him. This will be filmed handheld in order to represent instability of Ross’ emotions.

Now Ross is filmed once more from behind – Medium shot – walking towards to doors of his new house. Quick shot.

The next shot consists of Ross opening the door. There will be a close up of the key hole and Ross opens it up with his keys. Quick shot.

We now switch inside the house, and show Ross Gibson, in a close up shot, closing the doors behind him.

Once more a close up shot will be used to show the light switch. Ross will flick it on. Quick shot.

A low angled shot of the light now will be presented switching on. Quick shot.

Now there will be a long angled shot, focusing on the stairs, and Ross Gibson throwing his bag down. Quick shot. Only his legs will be seen.

The next shot takes place in his bedroom. A birds eye view shot of Gibson will be presented, falling back into his bed on his back.

The previous shot will be complimented by a fade to black and then hearing knocks on the door. This will go straight back to Ross lying on his bed surprised at the knock (same high angled shot).

A Behind the shoulder shot of Ross will be shown opening the door. Audio starts to change to more dramatic – watershed moment within the trailer.

Ross will have a POV shot looking down at the next door neighbor's daughter, Isabella. “Hi I kicked over my ball, can I have it back please” – Isabella

Shot-reverse-shot, looking up at Ross Gibson from Isabella’s point of view. “Yes sure, I'm your new neighbor Ross! Nice to meet you!”.

After a series of exchanges between the two, a POV shot from Ross Gibson shows Frank running tensed towards him. (Thought she had lost his daughter)

Side medium shot of Frank shouting at Isabella for leaving the house. “What have I always told you?”. This will be the first glimpse of Frank being a protective father.

Frank sends Isabella back home. A low angled shot of Isabella running past. Only her legs/shoes can be seen.

We cut back to Frank and Gibson. Behind the shoulder of Ross looking at on Frank. “So where do you come from?”

A close up of Ross Gibson’s face uncomfortable NVC. “Prison, I’ve just been released. Want to get my life back on track”

Behind the shoulder shot (Ross). Frank unsettled leaves (frightening news). “Nice meeting you”.

Close up to Long shot – Looking at Frank leaving Ross. This will consist of Frank turning around and quickly making his way home. Ross is left surprised, turns back and closes the door.

Fade to black. From this fade to black, we hear load shouting audio from Frank “Where is she? Who’s taken her?”. Close up shot of Ross Gibson’s eyes opening up to the shouting.

Birds eye view shot, looking down at Ross Gibson running down the stairs.

Above the shoulder tracking shot – Ross Gibson, running down the stairs. Hand held camera = instability = represents emotions.

Low angled shot – bottom of stairs looking up at Ross Gibson running down the stairs. Ross Gibson Runs into the camera. Long to medium shot.

Now a shot will be shown from the opposite angle. Ross Gibson will run towards to door. Medium shot.

POV shot of Ross Gibson opening the door. As soon as he opens to door Frank will appear and shout “It was you!”. He will then throw a punch.

Ross Gibson after the punch will be lying down on the floor looking up at Ross Gibson. He will have blurry vision and then it will fade to black.

The next shot will cut to a different scene. We will go straight to the interrogation. A medium/close up shot within a cabinet. Hands open it up and take out a file.

Now we switch to seeing a low angled shot of feet walking up the stairs with the file in their hands. Creaking sounds.

Over the shoulder tracking shot of the interrogator walking into the interrogation room. Medium shot.

A close up shot of Ross Gibson’s face is shown looking towards that direction with sweat along his face.

The next shot is a medium shot looking at Ross Gibson between the arms of the two interrogators. “Where is she?”. This is countered with a reply “I don’t know what you are talking about”.

Once more this same shot is replicated. This time the interrogators say “Don’t lie to us!” – with Ross Gibson’s reply being – “I’ve just come out of prison why would I do such a thing?”.

Fade to black and the scene is switched back to Ross Gibson’s house. Ross Gibson is looking out side the window in a medium/close up shot.

Eye line match – The antagonist appears in a long shot walking down the road.

We switch to a close up shot of his face, whilst he nods looking back to Ross Gibson's direction.

Cut straight back to the shot of Ross looking out the window and he turns around closing the curtains. Medium/close up shot.

Pitch black dark, Hooded person (antagonist) walks past the camera into the night.

Replicate of this previous shot just with Ross Gibson walking past. Shows he is following the antagonist.

Behind the back of Ross Gibson searching in the woods with his torch. Music slowly building up.

Close up of Ross Gibson looking agitated around all angles. Close up shot.

Fade to black for a few seconds. – Loud girl scream – music suddenly becomes much more intense.

POV of Ross Gibson making his way through the forest in search of Isabella. Music loud and intense.

Medium shot of Ross Gibson making his way through a piece of forest into a secret building.

Medium/close up shot of Ross Gibson running up to a metal caged fence and grabbing a hold of it. “Isabella!”

This switches to a close up shot of Isabella tied up and screaming. The torch is shining on her.

Once more a medium/close up shot of Gibson holding the caged fence and rattling it with strength. “Isabella hang in there, I’m coming!”

High angled shot behind Ross Gibson. Ross Gibson turns round and points the torch at a figure behind him. (Antagonist).
