    On Saturday 22ndMarch Eccleston Scouts group hiked

    a 10-mile return journey from Eccleston to Chorley tothe Storehouse, carrying donations of food on their

    backs. Leaders Jimmy and Laura Waine and Phil Orr

    said the Scouts are currently working on their Promise

    Challenge Badge. Well done everyone!

    A HUGE thank you to all the churches in Chorley

    Borough, our local Council, Schools, Businesses and

    individuals who have supported us in so manyamazing ways throughout this year.

    In March we gave out 116 food hampers to familiesand people in crisis through our referral scheme!!

    These people were also given a nourishing hot meal

    from our delicious Storehouse menu made and served

    by theConnect Caf, which is open to the public onTuesday and Fridays from 10am-2pm

    Many of the people being referred havent eaten

    anything for two or three days. One man told us he

    had been surviving for the last 3 days of a box ofcornflakes. Another young mum said she hadnt been

    eating so that she could give what little she had to herhungry children

    Demand for our service is increasing each month, and

    costs are rising. We really need your help. Can you do

    a charity challenge for the Storehouse, or host your

    own fundraising event. Gather your friends together

    at work, school or as a family, there are so many waysto support our work, whatever you do to help, big or

    small you can help us make a difference to the lives of

    others who need it the most.

    Can you donate just 4 to feed one adult? If you can

    please send a cheque payable to Living Waters

    Storehouse, post to 33-45 Bolton Street Chorley PR73AB or pop into our cafe on Tuesdays or Fridays

    between 10am - 2pm and you will receive a warmwelcome. You can also stay and sample one of our

    delicious menus !

    by the Staff. You will

    make lots of children

    very happy!

    LUNCHES

    Churches Together in

    Chorley are meeting for

    lunch and reflections

    every Wednesday during

    the lent period at various

    churches.

    The lunches have been met with great success and somof the donations received have been given to the

    Storehouse. Thank you to Churches Together for your

    over 30 agencies working alongside to help

    make a difference in our community. Thanks

    to Dial-a-Ride who came quickly to our aid,

    and Chorley Council Time Credits a familycould be transported home safely with their

    food parcels. Great team work!
