The two providers that we use are Remit for the North and Babcock for the South and Scotland. Both providers have access to robust and proven
systems, they also have deep understanding of government funding. Both providers have committed to work with learners at times that suit the business and the individual.

L2 ALBERT FOOD PRODUCTION AND COOKING
Who is the Qualification for?All Kitchen Team Members/ Kitchen Team Leaders
How long will the Qualification take?12 months
What does the Qualification include?• Induction Modules
• Practical Demonstration and Knowledge
• Functional Skills Maths L1
• Functional Skills English L1
How will the qualification be assessed?• 4-6 weekly visits by your Assessor to your workplace
• Using various tools i.e. e-learning, workbooks and practical assessment
• Online testing for the Technical Certificate and Functional Skills
• Your Assessor will work with your Manager to identify and deliver the right amount
of learning
• Your Manager will provide witness statements to close off each unit
What will I gain from the qualification?• Nationally recognised qualifications
• Self confidence
• Up to date knowledge of H&S, Food Safety, Cooking Methods and Menu Knowledge
• New skills to progress within your job role

L3 HOSPITALITY SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP - KITCHEN
Who is the qualification for?All Kitchen Management
How long will the qualification take?12 months
What does the qualification include?• Induction Modules
• Practical Demonstration and Knowledge
• Functional Skills Maths L2
• Functional Skills English L2
How will the qualification be assessed?• 4-6 weekly visits by your Assessor to your workplace
• Using various tools i.e. e-learning, workbooks and practical assessment
• Technical Certificate (multiple choice exam) and Functional Skills (online exams)
• Your Assessor will work with your General Manager to identify and deliver the right
amount of learning
• Your General Manager will provide witness statements to close off each unit

• Self confidence
• Up to date management skills and the day to day running of the kitchen
• New skills to progress within your job role

Who is the qualification for?All Front of House Team Members
