Mr. George Behanan T., Consultant Counselor and Therapist at Institute for Behavioral and Management Sciences (I.B.M.S.), will be leading the sessions of the Counseling Seminars which are to be conducted from 25th to 27th February, at St. Thomas Centre.

Mr. George is a Counsellor, Teacher, Trainer & Therapist with Schools & Colleges. He conducts Personality Development Workshops for School & College students. He also makes a lot of inspiring literature for young people. Since the last 10 years, he is working as the I.B.M.S. Programme Officer at Trivandrum.

Message from VicarBeloved in Christ!Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I am happy to write to you all again through the parish bulletin- St. Thomas Messenger. February can be called a month of spiritual nourishment for us, as the Maramon convention, Kuwait Center convention and most important of all the Great Lent will begin during this month. People should spend more time in reading and meditating on the Word of God, and on other religious

observances. Fasting and prayers will help believers to make their mind and body spiritually disciplined and perfect. All should observe the Great Lent more seriously this year. The mission “Save us now” came into existence last year during the Lent; let the Almighty God work in us to set apart our talents to the need of others. During the farewell meeting of our out-going children held at the St. Thomas Center, I recommended 7B’s as Golden Rules to be followed by them; as they are planning to move out for their higher studies in different parts of the world. This in view of the present scenario of students’ lives in colleges/ hostels. I wish them my prayers and blessing for a bright future.

about you)It is important to pray for Kuwait as the nation gears up for National Day on February 25th and Liberation Day on February 26th. There are many of us who have lived here and are a part of this country for many years. The nation supports the livelihood of many expatriates, and we are one among them. Our love and respect towards the country and its rulers for the past are very exemplary.Many people are concerned with the life of Christians in Iraq, where persecution against them crossed all borders; according to the media, small children are killed brutally, women are raped and men have been killed and hung on the cross. Let us together pray for all the people who are undergoing such situations all over the world without religious differences. May the Lord of Peace and King of kings rule over the world with His grace and mercy. I extend my deepest condolence to the bereaved family of Mr. Mathews K Abraham (Lalu) on the sudden demise of his wife, Sarada Mathews, and also to our members who have lost their beloved ones recently. May the Almighty God comfort them with His peace and presence, and the promise of the eternal life.Our Parish Fest 2015 is at hand. There are many people in various committees who are working hard day and night for its success. Let us cultivate the feeling of togetherness and love in our get-together. Senior Vicar, Rev. K. M. Varghese celebrated the Holy Communion at St. Thomas Centre on 23rd January.

Rev. James Idiculla, Acharya – sihora Ashram, celebrated the Holy Communion on 20th January at St. Thomas Centre.

Resident Counselor at Mochana De-addiction Centre, Adv. Shaji K. Tharakan, administered the Word of God during the Holy Communion Service on 16th January and also led an awareness class and training on de-addiction on 24th at St. Thomas Centre.

This year’s Center Convention, Marubhoomiyile Maramon, conducted by Kuwait Center Mar Thoma Joint Fellowship, will be held from 16th to 20th, February at NECK. The main

speaker for the Convention will be REV. A. T. ZAChARIAh
