Sting & Skye :: T-Shirts & Designs started in August 2002 with my endless quest to find a Batman Beyond t-shirt. I scoured website after website looking for a shirt but only came across shirts for children.

Most comic book fans today tend to remain comic book fans after they grow up. What better way to retain a piece of a person's youth by wearing a t-shirt representing their favorite childhood superhero?

Why restrict it to just comic characters? What about theBugs Bunny's, Taz’s, Mighty Mouse's, Scooby Doo's, and Underdog's. Old school cartoons that the over 35 crowd can relate to. My objective, my goal and my purpose - create something for everyone. Breathing new life into old school characters.

…and so it began.

As mentioned earlier, I was inspired to create my very own shirt representing the new age superhero and successor to the caped crusader, Batman Beyond.

I set out and purchased shirts, paints, glitter, glue, and brushes, everything i thought I would need to do the job.

The project started on a Saturday evening and took 2 days to be completed. The shirt has never been worn (and never will be) and will eventually be framed and placed in the first Sting & Skye :: T-Shirts & Designs store when its opened as a part of history.
