STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION 4th Sunday of Advent

“For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy.” (Luke 1:44)

When you hear the Scripture readings and Gospel reading each Sunday, do you “leap for joy?” If not, don’t

blame the lecturer or priest, rather look inside yourself. Do you prepare for Mass each week or do you just

show up and expect to be entertained? We are called to be active participants, not passive bystanders.

The 2019 Sunday Envelopes are available for pick up in the church. Please continue to use your 2018 envelopes until the end of this year.

As your envelope number may have changed for 2019, please use envelopes only for the year that they are intended. This helps to ensure that your donations are recorded accurately.

Assigning of envelopes is computerized and based on the frequency of usage. If you were not assigned a box of envelopes for 2019 and you would like one, please phone the parish office at 604-936-2525. The parish office will gladly provide it to you.

We will be canvasing the neighbourhood around OLF for bot-tles and cans - please leave them outside for pick-up.

We will also be having a tree chipping event by donation in the Canadian Tire parking lot (across from IKEA) from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
