“In This Place” #80 Praise BookWe are all hungry people, we need shelter and strength. We are one in our hurting, we are one in our pain. In our suff'ring and sadness, we are saved by the grace of the power and the Spirit that is here in this place. [cont.]
Preparation for Prayer
All our lives are a myst'ry, we see not where they lead. We are asked now to trust You, and we know we must believe. As our feet become Christ's feet, we go forth with the grace, of the power, and the Spirit, that is here in this place. [cont.]
Preparation for Prayer
We are gathered at table, as one in the Lord. We are gathered as people, who are living the Word. Our hearts and our spirits are nurtured by grace. It is Jesus who fills us. He is here in this place. [cont.]
Preparation for Prayer
Though the world may tell us to look at ourselves, we reach out to another where suffering dwells. As our hands become Christ’s hands, we are healed by the grace of the power and the Spirit that is here in this place. [cont.]

Preparation for Prayer
Prayers of the People
The Lord’s PrayerOur Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Music:"New Beginnings"
by Eion Duigan on Lumina
All: Generous God, it is easy for us to comfortably imagine so many other Christians praying today and receiving the elements of Holy Communion. We like to think of this as a nice event; yet you remind us that when we have received these gifts we are also called to use the strength that they provide to witness to others through acts of reconciling love. [cont.]
PRAYER OF PREPARATION CELEBRATION OF THE LORD’S SUPPER
All: This Communion is not a “nice” service, meant for our comfort. It is a challenge for us to truly accept the love of Jesus Christ, who gave to us his body and his blood, that we might be redeemed to do God’s loving will. [cont.]
CELEBRATION OF THE LORD’S SUPPER
All: As we have gathered here this day, bringing our prayer concerns to you, O Lord, help us to remember that you hold each one of us gently and lovingly, offering your healing mercies. Give us courage to be your witnesses, seeking peace in this war-torn world. For we ask this in the name of Jesus the Christ. AMEN. (2)

Blessings to All!Remember…
You go nowhere by accidentWherever you go God is sending you
Wherever you are God has put you thereGod has a purpose in your being there
Christ who dwells in you has something he wants to do through you where you are
Believe this and go in his love and in his power and in his grace
This day and all of your days, now and forever more
