“Strength through simplicity” — this thought accompanied us throughout the whole process of designing the STEVE modular luminaire. We have combined as little as possible to get as much as possible.
The key element of the STEVE luminaire is the use of latest-generation, super-efficient LED diodes powered by low voltage. This resulted in very high efficiency; now, more electric energy is used to generate light than to generate heat. Less heat means there’s no need for a complex radia-tor. It also allows the use of flat and lightweight aluminium sheet. Large surface of the lamp is sufficient to disperse the small amount of heat generated by the light sources. Low temperature combined with low voltage guarantees very long life of the LED diodes. Add to this a thermally separate power supply unit and you get a very energy-efficient and a very enduring lamp.
To make the lamp even more useful we have introduced two types of covers to choose from. The first one is made from impact-resistant polycarbonate. It also provides record efficiency. The second one is microprismatic, able to reduce glare effect and providing soft, pleasant light, suitable for lower facilities.
As a result, the STEVE lamp is a light, sleek and universal luminaire. It’s also easy to install and maintain. It can safely work in various conditions for thousands of hours. Its design is simple, modular, yet advanced and practical in use.
