A8. TARGETED RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING

A description of V2C’s social and community benefit requirements (TR&T) are provided with the tender in Appendix I Tenderers are therefore required to submit a Targeted Recruitment and Training Method Statement by completing the document.

 

Social and community benefits are a core requirement of the contract with financial penalties for non compliance. Completed method statements must show a clear method for meeting the requirements. We refer you to the Inform to Involve (i2i) Can Do Toolkit

V2C Trainee Deposit Sum Definition The Trainee Deposit Sum (detailed in TR&T Contract Requirements) is a sum of money calculated per trainee week. It will be held by the client to be released to the Contractor upon receipt of TR&T monitoring data that evidences compliance with agreed TR&T requirements. This is usually measured on a monthly basis using Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and is compared against the Contractors TR&T Method Statement. Example Clause Wording 1.1. Trainee deposit sum

1.1.1. The trainee deposit sum is to be £[00] per Trainee week

1.1.2. A percentage of the total Trainee deposit sum, as calculated above, shall be deducted from each monthly application. The value shall be proportional to the percentage of expenditure of the overall annual contract sum as at the date of the current monthly application.
