Enterprise—Making an enterprising start

Llandrillo Menai International has something different to the usual

English language summer school, offering the state-of-the-art facilities

of one of the largest colleges’ in the UK to groups, enabling young

people to sample a career pathway to the future. We are very excited

about our themed English Summer Programmes, inspiring young

people to think about their futures and sample activities in an exciting

and challenging way. With our carefully chosen partners and expert

tutors, we are providing a rewarding, fun experience to your young

people.

Course Title: Enterprise—Making an Enterprising start

Career Focus: Coming up with ideas and starting your own business

Programme Overview:

What is Enterprise? How Enterprising am I? Ideas Generation and Development Enterprise Project – Develop your Idea, Create a Product and Take it to a real Market

English Essentials:

Participants will:

complete an initial assessment of English skills

carry out all activities through the medium of English

prepare presentations with groups of friends to promote their enterprising ideas

learn how to sell and communicate with customers

prepare a folder showing off their work during “Make An Enterprising Start”

Location:

Rhos on Sea campus of Grwp Llandrillo Menai, nestling below the foothills of Snowdonia

just 2 km from the sea.

English Language Entry Level:

Equivalent to Level 4.0 IELTS or above – there is no official certificated requirement for

this programme. This is a guide to tell you the level of delivery for maximum enjoyment

of the course.

Cost: From £1100 per two week programme. Your programme begins and ends with your included airport

transfers. Cost of flights and visas are not included in costs or services provided. Visa advice and invitations

supplied.

Programme hosts

Llandrillo Menai International is an experienced

international education provider of summer and other

short programmes; full-time English Language programmes

and A Level, IB and Vocational Diploma courses. Located in

the beautiful holiday destination of North Wales and near

the largest Welsh tourist resort of Llandudno, Llandrillo

Menai International is part of one of the UK’s largest

vocational colleges called Grwp Llandrillo Menai. This

gives access to all the colleges’ state of the art campus

facilities, technology and workshops to create a valuable,

fun experience for Summer Programme participants. The

award-winning Llandrillo Menai International team are

always complimented by their groups on the attention

given to programme content, the level of care and creating

a memorable, fun experience. We are just a three hour

train journey from London and one hour’s drive from

Manchester and its International airport.

Activities

Our location is near the beautiful Snowdonia

National Park, where the mountains meet

the sea and by the coastal resort of

Llandudno, which offers the best of the

British seaside experience. As well as the

English Language and Themed programme,

ed partners experienced in hosting groups of young

fers and day to day travel and excursions.
