Steps ToMount Monitor SafelyOn Different Walls

Required Tools

Before you begin to mount the monitor, confirm that your tool kit is equipped with tools like Philips head screw driver, ratchet or driver with 13mm socket, portable or electric drill, 6 mm stud finder for drywall installation and 11mm masonry bit for mounting on the concrete wall.

Once your toolbox is supplied all these, follow below mentioned steps to mount the wall plate on the drywall:

• Use a stud finder to locate adjacent studs and mark them to secure the mount.

• Level the wall plate by placing it against the wall.

• Mark four locations, two per stud precisely on wall to assure the safety of wall mount. Try to locate the centre of these studs.

• Use a portable or electric drill to make a pilot hole of nearly 6mm on each location. Remove the wall plate, once the holes are drilled.

•• Use the lag bolts and lag bolt washers to replace wall plate and fix it to the wall with the help of someone.

• Make sure that screws are not tightened too much. Don't remove the wall plate until the screws are tightened appropriately.

To fix the wall plate on concrete wall, follow the series of steps given below:

1. Place the wall plate against the wall to level it properly.

2. Fix mount on the wall by marking off four or six locations with help of another person.

3. Drill holes at the marked location by using a 11 mm masonry bit. You would be able to accomplish this task more easily by keeping wall plate aside.

4. Use a hammer 4. Use a hammer to insert the anchors in each hole.

5. Now replace the wall plate again by using lag bolt and lag bolt washers with the help of another person.

Here is a step by step guide to attach arms with the display:

• Decide the type of bolts after figuring out back portion of the monitor. If the monitor has a flat back then shorter bolts should be used. For the monitors with curved or recessed backs use longer bolts with a spacer.

• Determine correct diameter of bolt by trying every bolt from the hardware kit. Don't force any bolt, if you feel resistance then stop immediately to avoid damage to your display.

• • Attach arms at the back of display using the bolts of appropriate diameter. If you are using M4, M5 or M6 bolts then it is important that you should use M6 washers.

• Take care that your screws are not over-tight.

Once the arms are connected with the display, refer to the followinginstructions for the final installation:

1. To ensure that arms and the display are joined with each other, lift your display and place it on the wall plate with some assistance.

2. Insert safety bar at bottom of mount to avoid accidental knocking of the display. You can easily use a padlock to prevent theft of your display.
