Moot court is a law school activity and competition during which students participate in the preparation and arguing of cases in front of judges.

III. STRUCTURE OF A
MOOT COMPETITION

Participating teams submit 2 memorials (memorandum) of claimant & respondent
+ Each oralist is allocated a fixed period of time (20mins) to present the arguments in front of a panel of judges.+ The claimant has 5mins to rebut.+ The respondent has 5mins to surrebut.

LAWASIA, formed on 10 August 1966, is an international organization of lawyers’ associations, individual lawyers, judges, legal academics, and others which focuses on the interests and concerns of the legal profession in the Asia Pacific region.
