Position Overview
Data Analytics Branch
The Australian Government's Department of Education is responsible for national policies and programs that help Australians access quality and affordable early child care and childhood education, school education, higher education, international education and research. The intern will be embedded in the Data Analytics branch. They will experience a range of tasks common to the Australian Public Service, as well as being responsible for an analytical project.
The position is suitable for someone who is comfortable with data (statistics/econometrics/science background) . They will develop and undertake a short analytical project under direct supervision. This project will be part of a broader project using a large integrated dataset to better understand the social and health risk factors that generate developmental vulnerability in children who are between four to six years old.

Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree
Australian citizens only
Identify as having disability
Candidates may be required to undergo a background check security clearance
