•  Abraham  goes  by  faith  &  God  gives  countless  descendants  to  an  old  man  with  no  children.  

•  Joseph  suffers  but  his  sufferings  are  used  to  provide  for  God’s  people  AND  bring  Joseph’s  dream  to  pass.  

•  Moses  is  raised  up  as  deliverer  for  God’s  people  who  were  slaves.
