CHARTERED LOSS ADJUSTER

Stephen is a Senior Associate of ANZIIF, and a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) – UK, and the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA). He has been a National Board Director, Area Chair and National President of AICLA between 2004 and 2008.

Stephen has practiced as a loss adjuster for the last 30 years and over the last years or so has specialised in major and complex losses relating to the mining, energy, transport and construction sectors, throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region

In conjunction with Ewan Cresswell, Stephen formed Integra Technical Service (Asia) Pte Ltd in July 2013 which followed the setting up of Integra Technical Services (Australia) Pty in February 2009.

Industry: Energy, Transport, Manufacturing and mining

Energy / Engineering: Major (over AUS$300.0M) fire and resulting business interruption losses in onshore gas processing plants. Other losses include well blow out in indonesia, oil and gas pipelines – plus power generation throughout Australia and Asia (Inc power plant in Thailand ~AUS$195.0M). Offshore experience includes damage to well infratstructure and pipelines.

Construction Risks: Major losses property, DSU/ALOP claims involving mining, manufacturing, infrastructure in Australia, Asia and Africa.

Mining: Major losses involving – iron ore, copper, uranium, nickel, and gold projects– in Australia, Africa, PNG and West Papua.

Transport/infrastructure: Involved as adjusters for most of the major above rail freight operators, and port operators throught Australia. Particpated in most major derailments throughout Australia over 20 year period.

Marine: Port infrastructure, offshore pipelines, sea floor infrastructure and various cargo losses.

General: Wide range of experience with most property lines and associated business interruption losses, including catastrophe losses – earthquake, tsunami, bush fire and flood.
