86 000 members, AIESEC is the,
world's largest student-run
organisation. Focused on
providing a platform for youth
leadership development, AIESEC
offers young people the
opportunity to be global citizens,
to change the world, and to get
experience and skills that matter
today.
AIESEC is the international platform
for young people to explore and
develop their leadership potential
so as to have a positive impact on

interested in World Issues, Leader
ship and Management."

AIESEC in Thailand
AIESEC was founded in Thailand
in 1 966, as a cooperation
between AIESEC in Japan and
Professor Dr. Puey Ungpakorn.
Thailand was officially welcomed
into AIESEC network in 1 968.
Nowadays AIESEC in Thailand
presents in 7 tops universities:

Introduction to Step Up ConferenceDesigned to provide
delegates with a uniquely
invaluable experience in an
intimate setting, Step Up
Conference brings together
the key members in Aiesec
organization from different
local committees to instill
decision making power
with a spirit of leadership
and commitment as an
Aiesecer.
This event would prove to be
exceptionally special, since
it is the first time in Aiesec
Thailand's history to hold
Step Up Conference, under
the theme "Climbing the
Ladder of Success". This
title highlights the
importance of unlocking and
cultuivating leadership
talents in all members, and
recognition of leadership
role In craving their
pathways towards personal
and professional success.

..Over a hundred Aiesecers in
Thailand are expected to
attend this national
conference, where the prime
purpose is to educate,
enlighten, encourage and
empower the members through
hands-on training, workshops,
recreational activities and short
training programs. The
participants will gain an insight
understanding of the
organizational structures and
practice of leadership as a new
generation.

Another core objective for
this conference IS the
election of president of
Aiesec Thailand for the up
coming year 2014. This
important event is expected
to motivate current AIESEC
leaders and members to
take higher position in order
to ensure the leadership
pipeline.
Unlike many other lead
ership conferences that
are designed either for
training to be more
effective leaders, Step
Up Conference is
designed for delegates
to come face-to-face
with the role models and
leaders and share to
them about their unique
paths to success.

Special EventOpening ceremony, January 24 th
The opening ceremony is the official launch
of three-day Step Conference 2014. We are
offering the platform to all delegates to elect
the president and vice president of AIESEC
Thailand. Moreover, the delegates will have
a chance to engage with Aiesecers from
different seven universities.

Daydream Party,January 24 th
It is said that the future belongs to
those who believe in the beauty of
their dream. Hence, we came up with
an idea for all delegates to be what
they dream to be. The party will be a
great opportunity to dress up and
present your dream.
What to prepare: Please dress up
fancy dress in order to show your
dream (e.g. Lady Gaga, Singer, Miss

Gala Dinner, January 25thTheme: Dare to Dream, Dare to be aleader. This event will serve and support our
delegates to share and present their own
leadership. All delegates will have the
opportunity to show their own ability for
leaping ahead to be successful leader. Each
delegation will show off their own unique in
various careers and be representative in
many field through fancy costumes. Please
inform us if you would like to perform talent
shows and you may send us your
performance detail (songs/ music) .

Located in National Science
and Technology Development
Agency (NSTDA), Thailand
Science Park,Pathum
Thani. "Sirindhorn Scienc
Home" is a unified learning
center aimed at encouraging
young people to pursue skills
and knowledge in science and
technology. Accommodation
is a Ten-Floor Building. There
will be in Sirindhorn Science
Home with comfortable,clean
and big room. It has a natural
view and fresh breeze air.
Accommodation rooms are
available from 4th to 10th
floors, available for a
maximum total of 324
visitors. Rooms are four twin
bedrooms with two extra.

The Institute of East Asian
Studies (lEAS)
The Institute of East Asian
Studies (lEAS) at Thammasat
University, under the patronage
of Her Royal Highness Princess,
Mahachakri Sirindhorn, was
founded in 1 981 and has grown
from a single purpose
Japanese studies center within
Thammasat University, to a
complex institution with various
missions. Based on the
Institute's continuing and
increasing global challenges,
the numbers of international
visiting professor, student, and
researcher exchanges
are growing.

Thammasat University
Thammasat University (TU), apart
from being the second oldest, is
also one of Thailand's best known
and respected universities.Officially
established on 27 June 1934, the
University was initially named by
Prof. Dr. Pridi Banomyong:'The
University of Ethics and Politics.' It
began as an open university, with
7,094 students enrolled in its first
academic year. The University's
main purpose upon its founding
was "to teach students to love and
cherish democracy

Rangsit Centre is located in Amphoe Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani
Province, 42 km north of Bangkok, and is easily accessible to
Tha Phrachan by shuttle buses operating on direct high-speed
expressway.
Start from BTS sky train, at victory monument station (N3) take
exit nO.4. Walk straight to the monument direction. You'll find the
van station to Thammasat Rangsit near the 7 -1 1 convenience
stores. By bus, take the no.29 terminal at Thammasat Rangsit.
You can also take the bus no. 51 0 and 39. Both of them can go
to Thammasat University but make sure the bus has it direction
to Rangsit.
