Apply for a resident parking permit renewal

Step 1

Go to the Westminster City Council website

(westminster.gov.uk), tap on the white search bar and type

‘renew parking permit’. Select ‘Search’.

Step 2

Choose ‘Renew your resident parking permit’.

Step 3

Select the ‘Renew online’ button

Step 4

Enter your login details. If you can’t remember your

pin/password, you can reset it by calling 020 7823 4567 and

choosing option 3 (Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm).

Step 5

Select the ‘renew permit’ option on the right hand side.

Step 6

Check the details and if changes are required select ‘Edit account details’ from the top right of ‘Your details’. If the details remain the same review the Terms and Conditions and then tick the box to accept them.

Step 7

Once Terms and Conditions are ticked select ‘Next Step’.

If the council tax check is not successful it will ask for one

proof of address dated in the last 3 months.

Step 8 Please Note: This page will not be displayed if the automatic council tax check is successful.

Choose your proof of address type from the list. Select

‘Browse’, then ‘Take photo’.

Select ‘Use image’ if the photo is good, or ‘Retake’ to try again.

Select ‘Next Step’ to continue.

Step 9

Check the details are correct and select ‘Next Step’ to make

payment.

Step 10

Select ‘Take payment now’ tab, then ‘Next Step’.

Step 11

Choose ‘Existing card’ to select a card that you’ve used before,

or ‘New card’ to add a new one. Select ‘Next Step’.

Step 12

Enter your 3 digit security number and then select ‘Pay’.

Step 13

Select ‘Finish’ to complete your application.

You do not need to print anything, or display any permit in your

car. Our parking marshals have your vehicle’s details in their

system.

Application complete If the council tax check was successful the application will automatically be Authorised, if proofs were supplied the status will be Pending and will be reviewed.

The previous year’s permit will be displayed with the new one.

Don’t forget to go to ‘Account’ and select ‘Logout’ before you leave.
