Step 1: Go to http://voicethread.com Step 2: Click on Sign in or Register in the top right-hand corner.

 

Step 3: Click on Register again

 

Step 4: Fill in all the information and click on Register at the bottom.

 

Step 5: After you create your account and sign in to your account, click on your e-mail address on the top right-hand corner. Then click on “My Identities”.

 

Step 6: Click on “Add an Identity”.

 

Step 7: Type in your child’s (student’s) full name. You can also click on “select an image” to upload a picture of your child to the website to be the picture icon.

 

Step 8: After your child’s picture is uploaded, click on “Done”

 

 

Step 9 Go to http://fcsclassc2.weebly.com click on week 1 and you will find the recording homework link.

 

Step 10  The link will take you to the recording homework page.  Click at your own icon to change identities. 

 

 

Step 11  Click on “Comment” in the middle at the bottom of the page. 

 

Step 11  Then click on record botton. 

 

 

Step 12 Click “Allow” in the popup window.  Then you can have your child talk into the microphone and start recording for the homework. 

 

Step 13 When you finish, click “OK, start talking….”  to stop. 

 

Step 14 Click on “save” if you are satisfied, “cancel” if you want to redo the recording.  Your icon will appear on the page.  Click on the icon and you can listen to your own recording!
