target 1 – ecology we save about 3,5 t CO2 per year we have contributed to a mental change in ecological behavior in our school family – students, parents and teachers sustainability is a fundamental principle of our spirit of enterprise our investment of 28,000 € is completely invested in the ecological sector placing our enterprise in the field of producing renewable energy encourages our students, motivates them and improves lessons not only in the subject “economics and law“ our students‘ environmental awareness is improved
target 2 – economy our stock company holds 100% of private capital German enterprises are financed by an average of 80% of outside capital and a mere 20% of private capital up to now we invested 28,000 € in about 140 panels – so we own a capacity of 7.5 kWp The average cost is 150 € annually depreciation is 1,950 € (or 0.25 €/share and year) it is not reinvested, but paid back with the distribution of
dividends the average receipts are 3,350 € p.a. and the average dividend is 0,50 € for shares hold by students
target 3 – education issues in the field of our subject “economics and law“ are illustrated by our scolar-owned enterprise: depreciation, amortization, business plan, cash dividends, savings, climate protection options, field trips to nearby facilities our students meet investment aspects and comsumption alternatives we improve our students‘ abilities to act independently – students can buy stocks with their own pocket-money and act as responsible stockholders we clearly show and prove that economy and ecology are compatible
