STATEMENT ON CONFIDENTIALITY LABEL IN 'LIS 79 DESCRIPTION REFERENCE MANUAL'

This file, which contains the 'LIS 79 Description Reference Manual' contains a label stating that the information therein is Confidential Information. Since the original internal publication of the manual, Schlumberger has elected to make the manual publicly available. Accordingly, notwithstanding the confidentiality labels, Schlumberger no longer considers the contents of the manual as trade secret and any information contained in the manual may be considered non-confidential. This statement shall not be deemed as a license under any Schlumberger intellec-tual property including, but not limited to, the copyright in the manual and any related patents.
