To all Brother Knights and Convention attendees:
This year’s convention has many enhancements and fun activities for you and your guest. We would like to encourage you to come in on Friday and enjoy the weekend with your Brothers and families. The convention is open to all Brother Knights and guest.
We will continue with our popular golf tournament and bowling tournament. This year we have added tours to Houmas House and a Booze & Bites tour, space is limited so register early. We have also included a flyer with the many other activi-ties and sites around the Capital City of Baton Rouge for your enjoyment.
This year, for the first time on Friday the Fourth Degree will hold its “Biannual Meeting” at the Crown Plaza. Many of you Brother Knight are Fourth Degree and may want to attend as this only happens every other year. Please check with your Assembly for details and pricing.
Also, on Friday we will honor our Brother Knights who have deceased over the past year with a Memorial mass. After the Memorial mass we will have a Shrimp Boil on site in the pool area at the Crown Plaza. This is a separate ticketed event.
Following the Shrimp Boil we will dance the night away to the sounds of “Blue Eye Soul Review”. This is included free with your registration fee. Extra tickets can be purchased for a fee of $10 per person. Contact Vince Whittington at [email protected] or 225-892-0162 for tickets and details.
On Saturday night after the banquet we will again dance the night away with the signs of the sounds of NaNaSha. Again, this is included free with your registration fee. On Saturday and Sunday, we will continue with the convention as normal. Please see the registration packet for details. All information is included in the packet.

On Friday, May 1, 2020, the Louisiana State Council Knights of Columbus will host the Knights of Columbus Convention Shrimp Boil to kick off our Annual State Convention. The Shrimp Boil will begin at 6:00pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel - Pool Area. This function is open to KC Convention attendees and their guest. This is a separately priced convention event at $25 per person. Children under 12 cost will be $15 per child, when accompanied by a paying adult. Soft drinks and adult beverages will be complimentary. Your purchase includes 2 lbs of shrimp with corn and potato (1 lbs for kid ticket). Service will be from 6pm to 8pm. Please bring the entire family!!! If you plan on attending, you will need to purchase by April 15, 2020. ALTERNATE MEAL: Bar-B-Q with sides. The Louisiana Ladies Auxiliary Association’s Spring Meeting is set for Saturday, May 2, 2020, in conjunction with the 115th Knights of Columbus Convention. The meeting will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Baton Rouge.
All ladies, not only auxiliary members, attending the convention are invited to attend the LLAA Meeting. The meeting starts at 9:00 AM and we would love to see a full house.
We will also host the Ladies Luncheon and Entertainment which will follow the meeting at 11:30 AM. The Luncheon and Entertainment tickets will be $35.00. These tickets ARE NOT part of the convention packet and must be purchased before April 15, 2020. Please send the enclosed order form to the Knights of Columbus State Office, P.O. Box 51166, Lafayette, LA 70505-1166 or you may purchase tickets and register online at www.louisianakc.org. There will be no tickets sold at the door the day of the luncheon.
To help defray the cost of the gift, auxiliaries and Councils are being asked to donate $25. Every lady attending the luncheon will leave with a gift.

The Louisiana District of the Knights of Columbus and the Louisiana State Financial Secretaries Association will hold their annual State Convention May 1 – May 3, 2020, at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Baton Rouge.
Our Association Luncheon will be Sunday, May 3, 2020, at 12:00pm. If you plan to attend this luncheon please return the lower portion of this form no later than April 15, 2020, with a check for $15.00 per person (member and spouse), $20 for each additional guest payable to the Louisiana Financial Secretaries Association. These fees are non-refund-able. Please include your council and/or Assembly number on your check. Your annual Association dues must be current for you to be able to attend our annual meeting.
