equipmentmanufacturerswebsitesforwhattheyrevealandprovideabouttheirequipmentintermsoftechnology,product/equipmentdescription,specifications,performance,features,operationalcharacteristics,availability,accompanyingservicesandpost‐salessupport.
• Collecting and reviewing sales material and ads that are available, obtain catalogues andnewslettersandanalysingthem.
• Compare strengths and weaknesses among different competitors, technologies prior toperformingdirectcommunicationwithpotentialmanufacturers
• Checking other sources of informationwithin particular industry, for example people thatmay have worked with similar equipment, or some of the clients from the reference listsobtainedfromsupplier/manufacturer

Gaugingstationsarefacilitiesusedbyhydrologiststoautomaticallymonitorstreams, wells, lakes, canals, reservoirs and or other water bodies. Instruments at these stations collect information such as waterheight, discharge, water chemistry andwater temperature. Inside “FAIRway ‐ State of the art analysisequipment summary” table are provided technical information for all three measurement technology(bubblertechnology, smartsensorstechnologyandpressuretechnology).
Prices for gauging stations start from 900 Euros. The final price lagely depends on the availableinfrastructure(powersupply,GSMconnection, installationonfortifiedbanksetc.)
