Your User Name is your employee ID number preceded by a lowercase h and a

zero. Example, h0123456.

If you have a seven digit employee ID number, your User Name is preceded by a

lowercase h only. Example, h1234567.

Your password consists of eight randomly selected characters,

letters, and/or numbers.

To log into MI HR Self-Service from a work computer, click the top link. To login from a

home computer, click the bottom link.

As you can see, this document contains different information from the Hot Topic version. This is because the Hot Topic is available to view for a specified period of time whereas the open enrollment information in the open

Any time you navigate to information, the path you took to get there appears at the top of your screen.

These “bread crumbs” allow you to see how you navigated to the information.

In this example, we started from the Home page then clicked the “My Benefits Enrollment” navigator, then clicked the “Open Enrollment” link or “book.”

If you do not see a logout button, either maximize your screen or just click the
