WHO’S WHO AT THE MISSOURI STATE FAIR?A staff of 23 individuals work year-round in preparation for the annual Missouri State Fair as well as maintain the 396-acre

Missouri State Fairgrounds. These individuals, along with the Fair Commission, Foundation, volunteers and hundreds of seasonal and Fair-time staff, work together to create the state’s largest agriculture expo annually in August.

Hanna Keene was crowned the 2014 Missouri State Fair Queen August 8th in the Mathewson Exhibition Center. Hanna participated in the Fair Queen contest as the reigning Warren County Fair Queen. Hanna is a lifelong resident of War-ren County and is a 2013 graduate of Warrenton High School, graduating in the top fifteen percent of her class. Hanna is the daughter of Kenny and Barb Keene of Marthasville. Currently, Hanna is a sophomore at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is majoring in Health Sciences. After obtaining her Bachelors of Sci-ence degree in 2017, Hanna plans on obtaining her doctorate in Physi-cal Therapy. Hanna plans on working with trauma patients, helping them return to normal everyday life. She has always loved working with people and encouraging them to be their best. One day she hopes to have a fam-ily and raise her kids on a horse farm. Horses have always been one of Hanna’s passions. She has been riding since she was three years old, and she hopes to instill into her kids all the values that she has learned from agriculture and raising her horses. In addition to serving as the Missouri State Fair Queen, Hanna volunteers at the Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center in Columbia. She enjoys be-ing around the kids as well as the horses. She is also involved in the Alpha Phi Omega service organization at Mizzou. Hanna is extremely honored and blessed to be the 2014 Missouri State Fair Queen. She is grateful to have the opportunity of being an ambas-sador of the Missouri State Fair. Hanna vows to be the best representa-tive that she can be to promote agriculture, tourism, and rural living in the most professional manner. Hanna is excited to promote the continual growth that the Missouri State Fair has undergone in the past 112 years!
