• Member of the organizing committee seeking to create an association for access professionals: 2004-06

• Founding Board member and officer (Secretary) for the Virginia College Access Network from 2006 through 2012

• Led or assisted in preparation of every annual conference

Super Saturdayvolunteers.

– One of the primary organizers for SuperSaturday for years.

• Volunteered for many years at the Greater Richmond Access Scholarship Program, currently known as:

GReat Aspirations Scholarship Program (GRASP)

• Awarded annually to a deserving student– Nominated by a college access organization– Number and amount of scholarships

depends upon proceeds from endowment and annual fund raisers (min. $500)

– Final selection by scholarship committee comprised of: VirginiaCAN, VASFAA, and the Woodley family

service– Complete the FAFSA– Minimum 2.5 high school GPA– Also may be considered:

• Financial need• First generation student

• Initial 2013 award by GRASP
