The Artisans Christmas Bazaar is open Friday, December 7th and Saturday, December 8th at a new location at the American Legion next to Festival Halle. Come find your Christmas treasures! Weather permitting, Santa arrives on the Elva C on Saturday, December 8th. Santa will greet the little ones and then head to Bethany United Methodist Church for photos, stories, games, and treats. The House Tour will be on Saturday, December 8th and Sunday, December 9th. Four decorated homes in and near Reedville and Omega Proteins recently restored Smith Building are on the tour. Start at the Museum where the Walker House and the Museum will be open and the Northern Neck Railroad Trains will be running at the Model Shop. Free warm cider and tasty sweets will be available both days at the Holiday Café at Festival Halle along with a dazzling display of Christmas TableScapes and a Bake Sale. The annual Reedville Christmas Tree Lighting will be at the community gazebo on Saturday, December 8th at 5:15pm. Come out to sing Christmas carols, drink hot cocoa, & light the tree. Wrap up the Reedville Christmas celebration at Festival Halle on Sunday, December 16th, with the Reedville Festival Chorales Christmas in the Airconcert. After the show enjoy sweets and savories offered by Chorale members. Cash donations support the Chorale and the ongoing renovation of Festival Halle. Non-perishable food donations will be delivered to the Healthy Harvest Food Bank. Finally, celebrate New Year s Eve at Festival Halle on December 31st. Dance the night away with DJ Russ offering classic dance music from the 50s, 60s, & 70s for your enjoyment! And dont forget the first presentation of the Winter Lecture Series on Monday, February 4th, at 7:00pm. Jack Yunker will offer a slide show and talk about the historic World War II Liberty Ships”.
