Piston Rod - High Strength steel.NITRO CARBURIZING treatment on therod gives better corrosion-resistant properties (out performs 12-micron,(.0005 in.) chromium electroplating byratio up to 20:1.), Improved wearresistance, better lubrication retention,dent resistance without inductionhardening (60Rc), environmentallyfriendly,no surface pitting, flaking, orhydrogen embrittlement. The finishcreated by the process is a lustrousblack (stainless steel also available)

Rod GlandBronze gland is externally removablewithout cylinder disassembly for easymaintenance. Design to providemaximum rod bearing. (Also availablein Acetal)

O-ring Tube End SealsNitrile O-ring design ispressure compensatingand reusable.

Piston SealLip-type low friction urethane piston seals are pressure energized andwear compensating for low frictionand long life (temperature: -50° to200°F) (Viton™ also Available upto 400°F) (all seals can be used in anon lube application)
