Stalosan F is developed to contribute to the increasing demands of modern poultry industry. It plays an important role in poultry biosecurity, providing efficient control against a wide range of pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites and fly population. Additionally Stalosan F plays an important role for the animal welfare, neutralising harmful substances like ammonia and hydrogen sulphide in the litter and thusreducing emissions in the air. Stalosan F is available also in granulated form - formulation dedicated to suit better broiler productiondemands.Application recommendations:Meat poultry Stalosan F is suitable for all kind of poultry raised for meat: broiler chicken, turkey, duck. Stalosan F application will reduce the overall pathogen number, thus improving broilerperformance and production results. Consequently, 40% less medication is needed in average.Breeders Stalosan F can be used during the rearing period in order to reduce mortality and medications, in the nesting box against pathogens affecting hatching eggs in the nests, for litter treatment in free-range and floor management systems, for pathogen control on egg transport lines.Laying hens In floor or free-range management Stalosan F is suitable for litter treatment. In cage system Stalosan F can be used against blood mites, as well as for overall pathogen reduction. Manure treatment with Stalosan F will decrease significantly the fly population.Game birds are also susceptible for many pathogens and Stalosan F can be applied in the breeding pens, brooder house, night enclosures, for litter treatment and on problematic areas like near water troughs, feeders, etc.

Dosage recommendations:Stalosan F powder - 50g/m2 over the bedding material once a week during the whole production period, starting before the birds are arriving. Stalosan F granulated – 250 - 500g/m2 over the litter only once before the birds are arriving.

Stalosan F shows prolonged effect on productive performance of the birds. Trial made in Bulgaria with duck breeders showed 31.3% reduction of mortality and 20% higher recovery of the laying rate.

Central Veterinary Laboratory in Weybridge U.K. conducted a test in 1996 showing, that Stalosan F significantly decreases the number of sporulated oocysts.

Therefore, it could be the product of choice to control coccidiosis outbreaks.

Stalosan F binds up to 4 times its weight of water if ammonia is present.

Flies, darkling beetle and their larvae can harbour a variety of avian pathogens including, but not limited to Infectious Bursal Disease, fowlpox, Newcastle Disease, and Marek’s Disease.
