PROF I LED BENDING RA I LS
Bending rail is used to construct curved rail
components. Each rail profile has a corresponding
bending rail and bending mould. All bending rail
contains vertical pieces that when glued together
comprise the finished handrail shape. Bending
mould is the opposite profile of the outside strip
of handrail. It is used to cradle and clamp the
bending rail to the desired shape. The minimum
radius that can be bent is 48”.
SHOERA I LS AND F I L LE TS
Shoerails are plowed lineal material
sometimes used with square bottom
balusters. Fillets are cut to fill the
spacing between balusters.
